Internship:)

Thank God It's Friday! Today marks the end of week 1 internship! Yea. You can see this red nails. My favorite color. Reason why i decided to manicure it is because like that i will have more power over everybody. Hahaha i know this is lame but its somewhat the truth.

So for those who don't know where have I been attached to. I'm currently doing my internship at Singapore Press Holdings, Sphere Exhibits doing sales and marketing. FYI, mine is not the one at toa payoh but at genting lane which is also call the media center. 

Took a picture of where i sit. Heh i think i'm really lucky enough to have darren who's also RP intern and nicholas (he's on a contract basis for 6 months for upcoming project) to sit beside me. So i sit in the centre HAHAHA. At least i have someone to talk to whenever i feel bored :)

It took 5 days for 4 people to sort out this *@#*&!@*& lucky draw coupons. This is what people call sai gang. (Shit job). Will only do this when we have nothing to do so that the time will past faster.

So there's quite a lot of events coming up like License 2 play, Epicurean Market (Food & Lifestyle event), Kidz Academy. I think i'm really lucky to be under the project team of Epicurean Market. This is going to be a very high end event that will be held at MBS next year. Have to call the exhibitors to take part in this show. Went for meeting with boss and also i got myself quite a no. of name cards. This is a very good start because it really allow me to see how event is being planned and how people meet to work things out. & i feel lucky because i hardly heard of any interns being able  to attend meetings and meeting the clients. For my part, i have to meet my clients on oct! I'm starting to love this job :)

Not saying working in events industry is very bad. Have both the good and bad side. Right now, i have to start building my connection already so i guess this is a very good opportunity and yea i think i'm really lucky because this kind of thing is really hard to come by!

Oh! I forgot to take my motivation for work! I set nickhun as my desktop wallpaper & guess what my friend did to my desktop after i came back from toilet!? I thought this will only happened in RP! 

So overall, end of first week of internship. Not so bad. I think friends are very important. Having the right people at your place can help you to make your life more interesting! So.. 5 months 3 weeks more to go! Hang on ,fellow interns.

Sentosa

Got myself free admission to sentosa so i went there. Even though it's just $3 but still a liltle expansive ok? Every single cent count. I'm still a student, no income. I might sound a liltle aunty i know but true leh, still a student. Money hard to find. 

& ohhh i love this dress a lot. One of my 2nd favourite.

I really really think we very long never go on a date already. Partly cause my bf have to cope with his school stuff and all but i still wanna thank him for taking his time out to spend time with me even though he needs to study. 

I wanna go to this halloween and i read the school email saying that by showing RP student pass and you only need to pay the price of $50 only & guess what? I lost my ezlink carddddd. Halloween looks quite fun. Har Par Villa should come out with this kind of event also. If only, STB really take my TTM proposal into consideration. I'm sure this will work out. Heh. 

Dinner @ Ramen Play

Okay, overall i had fun just that i have to walk with heels with my stupid bruise on my toes. Very very painful. This is what people call gei kiang (Act smart).

So the time now is 12:56AM (Sunday). I cannot believe it's sunday now! Intern gonna start on monday. This is too fast. I cannot take it. My good friend have to always remind me how many days  left to intern. I think my life will be damn miserable. Work till 6pm, go home have dinner, watch tv and sleep. Wake up the next day and same routine. So welcome to working world, shermaine. Everything feels quite scary to me now. I never thought this day will come by this quick. I want to be a happy intern with no worries but i think this is kinda hard. 

Have fun interning people! I'm sure this 6 months will pass by real fast. All the best :) 

Hello earthlings! i'm back again. Guess where is this? TANJONG PAGAR! I kind of dislike this place already because we spend our 2 precious hours touring there. We were lostttttttt. Totally feel like a tourist. Anyway, the reason why we went there is because we wanted to find somewhere nice to chill. Thought of going over to PS.Cafe @ Ang Siang Hill for some chillax session.  Look at this. So nice right! Pity that it only open after 5pm and so our plan for this failed. We need our lunch!

Both of us feeling too hungry already & PS cafe was not up to my standard. I have an expansive tongue ;p So we were searching high and low for a nice restaurant  to chill around that area and to my surprise.. NONE! Worse is that this place have a lot of shops that sell bread and salad. Healthy lifestyle for all of the office lady ah? 

So this kind of explain why we were lost for that 2 hours and we end up going over to Douby Ghuat to eat our Just Acia. We like forever go there. LOLL

 After our awesome lunch we went over to clarke quay. Living the life of tai tai.Not bad. Only lack of majong. Ok, i'm feeling a lil tired already so i shall let the pictures do the talking.

 Oh hiiii. Very long never blog already. So gonna post something before i sleep. So i'm really thankful to have this group of friends. They really make a very big impact in my life and i thank you girls for that  :) Don;t say i not good hor! PEIWEN,MEINA,SIUYIN,JASMINE ONG, CLAIRE not forgetting the other 2 that are enjoying in hk now . MOMO AND DENARD.

Anyway, our school semester ended like finally ended. What's next? Internship and i really hope it;s going to be fun. This bitch(peiwen) keep complaining to me about her intern until im scared of it already. FYI, she's not really that bitch la. Sometimes only.

So, we went over to just acia and marina cuise centre. It's damn nice. Ok, not really nice because the level one look like JB. I'm like entering into some foreign island. The only thing i love about this place is the top floor but then the security say it's not open to public and it'll only be open next week. Then i think they should lock the whole place or have some dog to guard there so that people like us won't get the wrong idea and go in!

You cannot find this anywhere in Singapore other than Liang court but it's kinda expansive. Packaging quite small. I can finish everything within 30 mins. Go and try. This is good stuff.

End of business law UT1! Actually business law is really interesting. They make you find and see all the legal rights you can claim and it's really applicable when you're at work next time. Hehhhh but the thought of reading all the case law is very headache. I'm glad ut 1 is over. Coming will be ut 2 and 3!!!!

Alrighty. So i went to edit our pictures. HAHA looks quite different actually. We so cute last time and i love  and miss those young days. 3 of us use to be very close during sec school. We always wait for each other after school and even go for our lunch together even though we are all different class. Actually i'm really thankful for these 2 girls and my band mates . If not for them i think i'd have turn myself to an ah lian. LOL.

I'm so bored now and guess what? I'm watching 101 ways to leave a game show. This is so eggciting. But the ways is so horrible. The worse was letting the bulldog out to drag the loser out the game show. How exciting? Will you even dare to go for it? Not me.

Okay, so right now, new BTOs is out. We're thinking of applying bendemeer light

Look so nice right? We even do a site recce today and i find this location is really superbbbbb! But the price of this is more expansive than a 4 room flat in sengkang. So good luck to us if we are going to apply this. Still thinking of sengkang location because it's worth the money. But this bendemeer light is too good. Only bad thing is that it faces the road. Just hope that we could get a high floor unit:)

I'm so boreddddddddddddddd. Ok, so how's my teeth now? HEE Getting straighter and straighter each day already. Just hope that i know how to take care of my teeth after braces is out. Heard of a few cases that their teeth shifted back due to improper care :/

So, i've been thinking of getting myself one tattoo. I love hyuna's tattoo though. I know i will regret it so therefore, in conclusion I'M NOT GETTING ANY TATTOOS! But it looked nice. If i were to get one, i will get it at the collarbone area. Ok, talk so much, i'm also not getting any. HAHA just find that it looks really nice. 

& i left with 4 months till internship! I just cannot wait to leave this class. I still like my previous class though. Not saying that this class is not fun. Hypocrites are everywhere & once you get a lousy team mates who don;t eve want to do anything. You're just so screwed and fucked. Kinda miss seeing all those familiar faces around in school. Guess we will only be able to see everyone back in graduation! CANNOT WAIT!

Lastly, i'm moving on. Or should i say i've moved on? Yes. Moved on. If one day i were to see my mom on the road again, i don't think we will even say hi to each other. I don't like to use the word HATE but congrats to her. She did it. She make me hate her so much. Friends told me she might have her reason for doing this. I cannot figure out ANY reason. Even if there's . NO EXCUSE for her to do this. And my dad is not any better too. Don't even know how to think.

So right now, i just need to be happy. GOODNIGHT!

I miss this! I miss all of you! It's sad that rp always want us to change class every sem & this sucks. I think this is the best class already:(

& i'm currently enjoying my last sem of schoolllllll. Gonna work hard and i really cannot wait for my intern to start. Hopefully i can get into launch company even though it's gonna be no life.

Hello earthlings. How're you? It's been so long since i blog. Sorry, a bit lazy ah.
Well, it's the start of year 2012. Remember about the PROJECT 365? Yes, the one that you've to post a photo per day. Sad to say, i gave up already because it's really hard to maintain it and i'm gonna close down that site:(

Ok! So how did you guys spend your new year's eve and new year this year? This is the 2nd year that i cannot get to eat as a family. From now till the end of days . It's going to be like that. So i had to spend it with my grandma and relatives. Well, this year's steamboat is nice :) & guess what? We manage to get the tickets for chinatown countdown. Even thou it's quite last minute and rushing for us to get down there but we still got to thanks michelle for the tickets :)

Anyway, it was raining heavily that day. A bit sad for those artists.

Look at the umbreallas. HAHAHA. Okay, i finally have the chinatown feel that day because we were carrying that umbrealla too. Thanks to grace if not we will be drenched! LOL

Apart from that, JIVE fiesta finally come to an end. Yes. Thanks to all who have ordered their cakes from us and thanks for those who supported us :) It has been a success.

& we left like 10 days more of school and im done for this sem! This sucks. I'm gonna miss my classmates:(
